IMPORTANT UPDATE – Planning Commision Review of Area Plans has been changed to 1/13/25
After community feedback and thorough evaluation, the draft Plan Hamilton review has been deferred another thirty days. RPA staff will present the Hamilton County Comprehensive Plan to the Planning Commission at their meeting on January 13th.
Please check PlanHamilton.org regularly to review the updated documents as they are available. Each Area Plan includes a draft date indicating the latest version. When all final Area Plan pdf’s are ready, an email notification will be sent as a reminder so that participants may review documents in advance of the Planning Commission hearing. The meeting is to be held on 1/13/25 at 1:00 p.m. at the County Courthouse.
We’ve heard from hundreds of local residents and business owners who joined us this fall and we took some extra time to work on plan documents and incorporate input. These Area Plan versions include additional analysis information, revised Place Type maps, and updated policy language. See the documents and maps here.
